Herbal teas that helped our anxiety and panic attack
I have enjoyed a cup of tea all my life. I remember my mom preparing me hot teas for fever, colds, and headaches. That was the only effective medicine we had available at that time.
So, when I started with my anxiety and eventually suffered my panic attacks a cup of chamomile tea was the best stress relief remedy at that time.
I love to sip a calming warm tea at any time, especially after eating and before going to sleep. I always have chosen them caffeine-free to prevent panic attack symptoms such as palpitations.
Therefore, I always make sure they don’t contain green or black teas. Also, some plant ingredients can get me anxious if I overuse them. For example, licorice, peppermint, yerba mate, and even ginger.
I also make sure they do not have any preservatives or artificial colorants.
I used to bring a couple of tea bags to my job to help relieve my stress during my working hours. Also, I love to add some lemon drops with some honey or stevia for better flavor.
To increase the effectivity I use to let them sit for around 15-20 minutes.
You can get any brands you like but I am sharing the ones that have worked well for me. I usually go by ingredients and price. But if the brand is reputable that is even better.
Please consult your doctor if you are not sure or you are taking any kind of medication before trying any of these products that can affect drug interaction. Also, If you are pregnant use caution and speak to your specialist first.
